| Dude, wow, I haven't updated in forever!!
Probably because I've been so busy and have been neglecting all my blogs....
Work, classes, hobbies, yeah, you can catch up on eveything over at my
livejournal - http://www.livejournal.com/users/trekgirl01/. I
promise a real update soon!!

| Trying to update on a semi-regular basis, so here goes.
I have a few story ideas floating around in my head that I'd eventually like to turn into short stories or novels. But I can't really seem to pump them out into anything substantial. I'd love to get these done, to get something done, but it seems like I'm just stuck. And it's not necessarily writer's block, it's just, I'm not sure.... Well, maybe I can push myself a little harder and get something written. Anything at this point would make me happy.
| Look! An update!
First off, made a doll site, and I have to post the link, because I
love whoring my dolls.
But not in the bad way.
So, other than that, eh.
You know, I'm 20. I shouldn't have regrets. But I do.
Perhaps too many. And regrets aren't good at any age, so I guess
I've got to learn to let go. Be okay with me and my past and all
that will happen. Yeah, that's today's lesson of the day.
No regrets, because you can't change it.
Tonight was a blue moon, which, as a pagan, is uber special. At
least I see it as being powerful. Its one of those times where I
want to draw the power of the full moon and save it up in a bottle to
use later when I need it. I was reading posts earlier on
Livejournal about something similar. Taking good energy and
directing it at something in the future. It's an interesting
thought. I'll have to look into it.
Tomorrow is my 6th grade teacher's birthday. Because she's Wiccan
and works with my mom, my mother sent me out to get her birthday
present. I got some really nice stuff, an Egyptian incence burner
and a witchball to deflect negative energy. My mom said that she
liked the gifts. That made my day.
I want to fix all of Gerry's problems. He's having a tough time,
and that sucks. But I can't fix everything. As much as I'd
love to go around with a giant case of band aids and slap them on all
the problems to make them better, I can't. So instead I'll just
be there.
Joey is the funniest four year old ever. Child is
hilarious. Still hard to believe that he's been in kindergarten
for a week. He seems too young. And he's the shortest in
his class. He's so cute though! I went to help my mom at
school one day and I saw him walking back to class in line. He
was at the back, with his hands behind him, standing so straight.
It was adorable!
Hamasaki Ayumi. So at first, I really didn't like her all that
much. I'd heard her songs on Inuyasha and liked her voice and
all, but didn't think too much of her. Then I started listening
to her album "I am..." again, then proceeded to listen to all of her
stuff, and I was/am on a major Ayu kick. Major. And then, I
was reading more stuff online about her, and of course she's not
perfect, but I just don't know what to think about her sometimes....
And this entry is really random. Just goes to show I should update more!!

| I love Tackey and Tsubasa. I love Hideaki Takizawa's voice, I love
Tsubasa Imai's fashion and dancing. I love the way they sing together,
their harmonies, their live performances, everything. I love the songs
they sing, I love the way they sound.
But do I?
I've
always had a thing for singers who write their own songs and music. But
Tackey and Tsubasa do not. All of their songs are written by various
other people. They're just the pretty faces and voices that bring those
words to life.
I love the way Tsubasa dresses. His outfits are
awesome. He's trendy as hell and always looks perfect. I don't care
it's a pink belt he's wearing with white or black or he's wearing a
skirt over pants, he looks awesome. He's the only guy I've seen that's
been able to pull off wearing a skirt, and he looked freaking awesome.
But
is it really him? Or does he have professional stylist who tell him,
"Yes! This little pink belt will rock those pants! Wear the skirt! And
the scarf! You can do it!!"
And the dancing. Well, both are good
dancers, but Tsubasa stands out. He can be onstage with 20 other guys,
all doing a synchronized dance, and Tsubasa always shines among the
rest. I don't think that anyone else can be doing that for him, unless
they tell everyone to dance badly so Tsubasa will look better. But I
don't think so.
But anyway, how much of Tackey and Tsubasa is
Tackey and Tsubasa? How much of it is marketing and strategy and CD
sales and clever photo shoots?
How much of any artist or any celebrity is actually that person?
| I belong to a lot of different communities on Live Journal, and one of
the more common posts that I see has the phrase "I hope I'm not
breaking any community rules, but..." or some variation. I want
to tell these people, post whatever you want! Don't worry about
breaking the rules, unless there are clearly stated community rules
that say things like "Don't post links to porn" and you post a link to
porn. But most communities welcome related links. Don't
worry if you're breaking a rule, what are they going to do to
you? Ignore your post? Delete it? Reply rudely?
Oh frickin' well. It's not like they can really do anything.
